A painting of the lighthouse on Fidra. Allegedly the island of Fidra was the inspiration for the map in Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. He spent many of his summer holidays playing on the island. In this painting I’m trying to catch that stillness that comes after dusk on a Summers evening.
