The mighty cloud – Painting

I spend a lot of time travelling around Scotland, drawing and painting. This painting is from a layby near Stirling looking across the hills. I was fascinated by the shape of the cloud, it reminded me of the cloud paintings by William Turner. I’ve tried to catch the magnificence of the cloud.
